TROUBLESHOOTING
PDF problems
Q I get a message that says Adobe Acrobat
Reader handler not found.
A. This means you don't have Acrobat reader and need to
download it.
GO HERE to get it.
Q I click on the download link and Acrobat
Reader opens up, but all I get is a gray box.
A. Some of these documents can take a 15 to 30 seconds, so just
be patient. If you can see the PDF interface you should be O.K. That's why
our preferred way is to download the document to our computer as in METHOD
2 (above), so try that.
Q I have Acrobat Reader and have downloaded
the form but still can't see it.
A. You probably have an outdated version. Click on the HELP
menu in Acrobat Reader and select "About Acrobat Reader". If it's not
version 5, use Add/Remove programs in your Control Panel to uninstall it,
and then
GO HERE
to get your new free version.
Q I have the most current version, but when I
click on the PDF file it opens up the old version.
A. Rude, but that's the way it is. Go into your Control Panel
and uninstall the old version as outlined above. Then it should work just
fine.
Q Non of these things help, and I'm getting
desperate.
A. We're happy to help. You can write me at
mary@digitaldreams.nu or if
you're really panicked, give me a call at (541) 952-0387.
